Justice for Aneesha and other hapless elephants in India
As a baby Aneesha was poached from her family in the wild in North-Eastern India where there are still many free elephants. She was then brought across India to be sold into timber slavery, first in Kerala and then across India again in Tamil Nadu, being sold many times she lived in isolation and neglect. She was emaciated, arthritic, and in desperate need of veterinary attention. More →
